About us

We are a small group of female artisans working in the rural community of El Chile. The sale of our products supports our families and helps us to improve our lives and the lives of others in our community. We are empowered women, socially and economically, and we are passing these skills and values along to our daughters, the next generation of weavers.

El Chile is primarily an agricultural community, so during dry seasons or seasons of small harvests many are forced to seek work on nearby coffee plantations or faraway assembly lines. Our weaving is a sustainable business that allows us to work in good conditions year-round and support our community.

We produce all kinds of products, from wallets to backpacks to carpets, and are committed to the principles of Fair Trade and sustainable production.
